Tree checked:
Node names and costs come from the upgrade tree in Cocajola's full guide (September 15, 2026). The tree only shows a price on nodes you can buy next, so earlier nodes that were already bought have no price listed. The game does not print the exact bonus of each node, so the last column describes what the branch is for, not a number.
Recommended order
- Money I to V. Income pays for everything else, including the next dice.
- Luck I to V. Luck from the tree stacks with your dice and your rebirth multiplier.
- Unit Storage. A full Backpack stops your rolls ("Your unit inventory is full, sell some units!").
- Roll Speed and Sell. More rolls per minute and more Cash from the units you sell.
- Damage and Health. Once you start pushing towers.
- Walkspeed. Last: it saves walking time in the Hub but earns nothing.
This is the order given by ItzVexo ("your main priority in the skill tree definitely has to be money") and CHALLS ("first upgrade money, upgrade luck, and then upgrade unit storage"), and SpaceQT's notes say to upgrade the Money and Income side early.
Upgrades that are not in the tree
- Unit levels: each unit on your plot has its own upgrade pad showing its level (for example Lvl 19 > 20) and cost. Leveling raises that unit's income.
- Grades and traits: multipliers you roll at the Hub stations; see grades and traits.
- Game passes: Luck, Ultra Luck, More Cash, VIP and Roll Speed; see the shop page.
Upgrade tree FAQ
What should I upgrade first in Anime Dice?
Money. ItzVexo's and CHALLS's guides and SpaceQT's on-screen notes all put the Money branch first, because more income pays for everything else faster. CHALLS adds Luck as the second priority and leaves Damage, Health and Walkspeed for last.
Where is the upgrade tree?
Press the green UPGRADES arrow at the bottom of the screen, next to ROLL. The tree opens around a Start node, and the nodes you cannot afford yet show their price in red.
What are the question mark nodes?
Locked nodes. They sit at the ends of the branches, and the videos we checked never showed what is behind them. Some are next to rebirth markers, so they may open at higher rebirths.
Do upgrades reset when I rebirth?
The Rebirth window only warns that it resets your Cash; it does not list upgrades. We have not seen a video that shows the tree right after a rebirth, so check the tree yourself after your first one.
